DESCRIPTION:This league has moved online for now and also has moved to the Third Saturday of the month.  If you play this league then you know where to find the doc. \nThis League is for more advanced players who enjoy a change in the game and story from many other leagues.  The league follows a plot line that only occurs at this event\, and so allows players in this league to track the entire story and only have to come to this one event.  The play level is challenging but the rules are the same. \nThis event takes place in two parts\, once a month\, in Sebastopol at Willard Libby Park.  The first session is from 10:00am-1:00pm and trains players in the game\, as well as continues an ongoing story the players themselves are involved in creating. DESCRIPTION:East Bay Family Fanwar Campout – Teriock \nRegistration: All families must pre-register for this event. There are a limited number of spaces available. Registration and payment are required to save your spot. To register e-mail muse@fanwar.com . Payment may be turned in to Sara at a Teriock Fanwar event or mailed (before may 1st). Please contact Sara for address.  Remember that this is a private event of families who gather together every year.  Fanwar is the entertainment for the children. This is not a special event.  This Family Campout  is not open to the public but to a select group of families from the east bay and surrounding area that enjoy being together and LARPing. \n“Early Bird Special” on or before May 1st – Cost is $280  \nafter May 1st cost is $330 per participant \nThere is a sibling discount\, please inquire when you Pre-register \nReminder: We are a group of families who camp and Larp together. This is a family campout\, not a drop off event. All children must have a responsible adult in the park at all times with a working cell phone. This adult will take care of those children’s needs including food\, water\, behavior\, and health (both physical and emotional). Each adult may not be responsible for more children then there are seats in their car. (This is in case of an emergency\, i.e. fire\, earthquake.) \nLocation: This campout location will be divulged upon request . It is a primitive site. There are brand new chemical toilets but no access to showers. \n The gate: All registered families will receive an e-mail one week prior to the event in which the gate code will be announced. You will need this code to drive to the campsite from the road. Please do not share this information. \n Cars: Due to a limited number of cars allowed at the camp site\, each family is limited to one car. \n What to bring: Besides bringing everything you need to enjoy your time camping and playing Fanwar please feel free to bring musical instruments\, song books\, magic cards\, etc. \n Food: The first night will be a pot luck dinner. All other nights each family is only responsible for their food but we encourage sharing. \n Campfire: One fire ring is available for a community campfire. \nSchedule: You may arrive as early as 3pm on the first day. First event is a Pot luck dinner starts at 6:30pm. The special\, milieu*\,   This is an event that players bring their wears\, food and their talents to share and earn in-game gold as well as learn important plot pieces for the week.  On Monday\, Tuesday\, and Wednesday\, there will be three sessions each day. Morning session is from 10am-1pm. Then there will be a lunch break. Afternoon session is from 3pm-6pm. (in the event of extreme temperatures of 90 degrees and above start time will be 9am-12noon and second session will be from 3:30pm -6:30pm ) Then we will break for dinner\, campfire\, and music. Night session will start at 8pm and end at 10pm. There will not be any sessions on the fifth day but everyone is welcome to camp the fourth night.  Check out is 12noon.  \n Dogs: Dogs must be on leash in the tent area and in a tent at night. \nCharacter Sheets: If your child wants to play a character that is usually played in Chris’ Roekron  league\, please make sure to bring that character sheet. All requests must be submitted on the day before your character plays.  It must have a stamp of approval from Chris or a text sent to me from him as authorization. Note that your character will most likely not speak the language and be restricted to 1-2 word sentences. \n*milieu – a person’s social environment; sphere\, background\, backdrop\, setting\, context\, atmosphere.”

DESCRIPTION:Dear Teriock Fanwar families\, \nBerkeley Health Department has advised us not to hold an event this coming Saturday\, June 27th therefore we are cancelling Teriock Fanwar. Sorry for any inconvenience. Hopefully we will be able to get together in the future when can meet in a healthy environment. \nMuch health and peace to you all\, \nTony and Sara \nBerkeley Teriock FANWAR might still happen on\, July 11th and July 25th but will be determined based on guidance from the Berkeley Health Department. \nEveryone will be required to wear masks and stay in their pod of 12 for the duration of  play that day.  No one will be allowed to leave and return during the entire session so be sure to bring your lunch with you if you are staying for the duration of play for the day.  Everyone must bring a lunch that requires utensils. No touching of food with hands will be permitted. (Yes that means you must eat your sandwich or pizza with a fork and knife or chopsticks)  The lunch hour is 1pm-2pm as usual. \nMorning Session is 10-1pm \nAfternoon Session 2-5pm \neach session is $20 \nThis is ONLY for people who have played fanwar before- no new players  will be permitted to attend at this time.  If you play in other leagues you will be permitted to play. (Roekron Characters will be allowed only with permission from Christopher Melville) \nYou will be required to sign a waver that will not hold MUSE or Fanwar responsible if you contract covid19 from a participant or parent of the event.  Your Guardian MUST be present to sign waiver at beginning of play but is encouraged NOT to stay in the park.  This is the very opposite of what we usually do but being the times as they are this is the best policy. DESCRIPTION:Hello North Bay LARP families\, \nDue to the rain coming in Saturday and lasting through the weekend combined with the new State Mandates for canceling non essential gatherings I am canceling LARP this weekend. While the rain isn’t going to be too heavy for us\, it will force us to gather close together to stay dry\, and this is not advised during this period of outbreak of the Clovis-19 virus. Given that it will be very hard to maintain “social distancing” in the rain\, we should no be holding LARP this weekend. This is also a warning that LARP my be canceled for the remainder of the month\, so plan accordingly. The weather looks to be turning wet\, and if it does\, the combination of rain and virus will keep us closed.
