Season Finalie!!(10-29-05) - A group of Hero's using ancinet
hammers forged beneath Mt. Hragnor put together a massive
band of young hero's and marched into the woods to slay the
Forvalaka. They met with some resistance as they discovert
that the Forvalaka was creating a new breed of Carakwaith.
Still, they manage to slay the Forvalaka with the aide of
some stange elves who apparently mysteriously showed up in
Tree Form. Once slayed the Forvalaka had to be Exorcised which
required the aide of many of the local Life Mages to create
a circle of protection of high enough lvl to contain it. A
ritual was performed and after many near failures the creature
was buried in it's bones and sealed it in a tomb. Undaunted,
our hero then teleported to Feanorion to attack the Dark City
with the Elves and the blessed Rangers of Amir. The attack
went well at first with Feanorion taking the north shore of
the Celeroth and the Amir Rangers taking back Shadowguard,
but then the Dark City used one of it's tricks and cast a
spell that created a brief moment of extreem stress amongst
all the troops. This triggered a curse many of the Elven troops
had been subjected to, a curse of a mental effect of a LE
sub-personality which then took charge. At this point Elves
were fighting Elves, many of our major hero's were themselves
afflicted with this curse and so changed sides, killing their
comrades and turning back the good troops. At this time as
well, one of the Carakwaith, the Limper, had been captured
and the Rangers of Amir made to cross the Shadowguard Bridge
when they were met by living troops, Uruakai and Giants, as
well as a lone, cloaked elf. They pushed forward and almost
made it across when the Elf pulled from beneath his cloak,
non-other than Ebonafter, the Legendary Morganti Longsword
from Menonas. This elf was then identified as Werek, the warlord
who had lead troops down through Illionass and was though
to be involved in the battle thier. He nearly slayed a few
of the heros but was held back by a Demon summoned by a certain
Centaur Ranger. The battle looked bad at this time but then
a the sky turned reflective and small floating mages where
seen to be appearing and disappearing in the sky. The reflectiveness
of the sky, at first seemed to do nothing, until it was apparent
that it was reflecting sunlight directly into the Dark City!
All the Carakwaith and their vampire minions were forced to
retreat or die. At this time the mysterious Elves in Tree
From showed up, weilding strange new-forged blades and helped
to turn back the tide. These elves turned out to be a secret
division of the Nerigoth Order, having been in hiding until
this attack to maximize the suprise effect on the Dark City.
It worked well and they held off both the Dark City and troops
from Eastern Dagdeoth that were moving down to sandwitch them.
The battle slowly turned back in the favor of the Feanorion
elves and the rangers of Amir but too much chaos had been
wrecked and they could not make any more progress. The battle
haulted and the troops dug in to defend what they had gained.
In the weeks that followed the second attack on the Dark City,
or "The Battle of the Mirror Sky" as it is being
called, several things have happened. First of all, Shadowgaurd
is now held firmly by the rangers of Amir once again, the
Nergoth Elves continue to attack the north side of the Dark
City's terittory as well as keeping Eastern Dagdeoth from
comming too far through the Stonehammer Pass. The Elves in
Randwin and Lelodedin have joined with Nerigoth and help keep
Dagdeoth from encroaching. Unfortunatly they could do nothing
to keep Menonas, the last stronghold of Illionass from falling
to the sieges of Dagdeoth. All of the norther terriroty is
now controlled by Dagdeoth and they slowley push south. The
Limper was Exorcised and lost two levels in the process. He
remembers little of his service in the Dark City and as he
as an Evil Hero to begin with is being held as a prisoner
of war by the Amir Rangers.
In Pinicle, two important events have transpired. First of
all, the Arch-Magus of Storm Magics confessed to being the
one behind the use of high order elder sorcery witnessed by
the Wizards Trade Order and labeled as Magic of Mass Destruction.
Though they could not find the means by which he wielded such
power, he was never-the-less punished by being cursed with
a 250th lvl curse of "Forgetting the Existence of Magic-
can't use any." As such, he can no longer serve as the
Arch Magus and is being replaced in the Pinicle School by
someone appointed by the Wizards Trade Order. The diplomats
of Hostor claim that since they are not part of the Wizards
Trade Order they should not have to do as the say. The Order
agreed and said that if they disagreed then they would be
inviting a war with the Order. Hostor declined the war and
is choosing to compromise.
In Hostor, Amir Ford and Estorock Keep, three magical gates
have been seen to be forming very slowely. Investigations
have revealed what might be a new world beyond they gates
but efforts to explore it have ended with the explorers souls
being lost completely! The hope is that these gates will solidify
enough to allow real entry, but this may take some time.
The Temnor/Dsesnor was is still bloody and fierce and shows
no sign of slowing. Temnor has invaded Dsesnor and is attacking
provinces all along the Serpenton River.
So ends another season of the Roekron world. Time is passing
quickly now in Roekron (1 and a half years every week!). Next
season will find us 25 years into the future of Roekron. What
will have happened to our world by then. Who can say.

(8/25/05): The City of Eines Mien has been the focus of a
great deal of events in the last month. Not long after the
MetAllien clan was arrested many Samurai were arrested as
well for failing to deal with the problem quickly enough.
In the aftermath of the hearings there was a rumbling sound
that came form beneath the city and a otherworldly howl that
filled all who heard it with petrifying horror. A giant black
shadowy feline form was seen leaping out of the catacombs
and dissappeared into the Mienenlor. Some of the town guard
said they saw a small figure riding the creature. In the weeks
that followed the creature and the rider, later identified
as the Carakwaith Shifter, attempted to cast a spell of darkness
on Eines Mien which backfired when the city attacked along
with several heros. The result cursed both the Feline Beast
and Shifter with a brillant glow. These lights can be seen
even during the day moving through the Mienenlore, belieing
their every step! The two have been creating all kids of havok
for the guards of Eines Mien but as yet have done no direct
assault on the city. At the same time, a Centaur, matching
the description of the legendary Pacifist Amazon Cronos, was
seen sailing a boat that matched the description of the Golden
Twilight (a 4 masted, mastercrafted ship) towards the dark
city with a circle of stones on the deck. He battled his way
all the way to the edge of the city and then his ship flew
from the waters and hovered over the Dark City itself. Several
Carakwaith were rumored to be teleported by Cronos and have
not been seen since, though were they went is not known. It
is said that then Broden two elite guards flew up to deal
with Cronos at which point the stones began to glow and finally
created a tremendous blast which vaporized the ship, the stones
and Cronos himself (the two Carakwaith barely escaping). The
Feanorian Watchemen were kept from aiding Cronos first by
a Volcano that erupted earlier that month in the center of
town, and second by an entire brood of Spiga's. The Spiga's
have since been dealt with by two friendly Mithril Dragons
who suspected them of tampering with Elder Sorcery on a massive
scale. This proved wrong, but the Spiga's are gone none the
less. Further abroad the Sorikonian Martial Masters are having
their final challenge for the Damasced Short Glave purported
to be created to attack the Dark City. Krodogros, the Dwarven
Capital has run out of funds to defend itself and the next
weeks should decied their fate. The Temnor/Dsesnor was has
been incredibly bloody but show no signs of letting up. Students
of Astengrad who have been protesting the lack of involvement
by the Arch-Mage School have been dwindling, some committing
suicied and others simply vanishing. Only a small elite remains
after the Morganti slaying of their leader, a Storm Mage Teacher.
Arch-Mages everywhere have had the words Lodri-Icathica on
their lips of late, speaking of a major Gating by the Dagdeoth
Council that brought an Insane Arch-Angel from a mirror demension
into Roekron, along with her 6 elite Lawful Evil Angel Guards!
She is rumored to be none other than Wrtignifa (her other
name being unpronouncible), a Barbarian, Assassin, Necromancer
innately (among other things). Wrtignifa's feathers are legendary,
warping Magic and Skills that she uses. The effects reach
all across Roekron where Barbarian have noted that Hack takes
a full 4 HP to heal (and all 4 at once). Assassin have noted
that they can now Hack with the Weapon they have Weapon Dedication
for (though not AV=0). Necromancers have noticed that Terror
Ball cannot be healed except by a Warded healing. What else
Wrtignifa's warping will do is unknown though very recently
a Human was killed by a Death Ray and could not be resurected!
Some Barbarian are saying they regenerate without the need
for mana anymore, though the Assassin have been very silent
about any changes they may have discovered. Just last week
there were reports of a huge bolt of arcane enery shooting
into the sky from Pinicle. What caused such a blast is unknown
and the Mages of Pinicle have been silent on the subject.
Two Golden Dragons were seen circling the city and those inside
haven't detected their alignment but they don't look friendly.

(7/07/05) The city of Eines Mien is arresting members of
a particular clan, accusing them of plotting to overthrow
the government and even conspiring with the Dark City! Whether
these acusations are true is uncertain but most of the population
is not complaining, as the clan has a reputation for cruelty
and imprisonment. The Knights and Samurai almost invaded a
series of ruins just outside of town but stopped as they were
begining the assault, due to information that hostages would
be slaughtered if they did and that member of the royal family
are among the hostages! The assault has ground to a halt and
the Samurai countinue to keep the peace above ground though
what goes on below is rumored to be heines acts. Many of the
people of Eines Mien are loosing faith in their authorities
due to their inability to deal with this clan and their inability
to protect the civilians. Their is talk of riots and overthrowing
the government. - The Garden of the Lights has opened after
its several hundered year preperation and hosts a slew of
shrines and exotic plants tended and kept alive for ages.
The Royal Family has honored the sacred pools during the opening
of the Garden of Lights and the Pools have been renewed in
their blessings. - The people of Eines Mien are complaining
of a sense of the city being "wrong" in some way.
Many people find themselves taking the wrong route or forgetting
where they live, etc. What causes this phenomenon is unknown.
- A strang stone slab was found under the Rangers guild (just
outside of town) buried some 50 feet below the surface and
seems to be part of a larger structure. It has been identified
as some kind of door, but what type or what it's purpose is
is not known. - High level Elves and Guildmasters are disapearing
at an alarming rate and cannot be summoned or located. A few
have turned up murdered with little or no recollection of
what happened to them but most remain missing. Among them
are a famed Nature Mage Hobbit Hero who, legend has it, once
weilded an Orb of the Elder Magus, could take the form of
a Griffin and even spoke with Dragons. Another is a Guildmaster
of the Theives Guild who, stories say, once was a Death Giant
and caused a war in Mithil Grisodedin. What happened to all
these people and why they cannot be summoned has people worried
and many fear the worst. - A few temples have complained of
vandalism and theft. Some temples in the south side of Eines
Mien are complaining of Elven Gangs fighting with other gangs
and temples being defaced or stollen from. As early as three
weeks ago, a small temple complained of theft of old relics
that had been on display. Other acts of vandalism have followed.
- Tree Ents continue to come to the city every day. Though
they do not attack anyone, these creatures seem to be searching
for someone or something, some carry boulders, and then after
a few days, seem to loose track of their purpose and wander
off in random directions, to where or for what end is unknown.
- Many houses in Eines Mien have complain of hauntings. The
Nature Mages guild had some sort of spectral creatures in
it as well as some house on the outskirts of town. - A well
known Historian from the coast is threatening to remove the
cities main library (originally a donation from him) after
delivered an insult by a Noble of the city. The city is sending
Diplomats and Historians to try to solve the problem. - A
fire Demon was attacking Feanorian when it suddenly vanished
and, rumor has it, appeared in a temple in Eines Mien. After
two attempts to Duel it failed, it was slain first by a pair
of Samurai on hand, and then again by a Life Mage weilding
a glave. - Spiders continue to plague the surrounding countryside.
All size and types have been seen in and around the city as
well as near Feanorion, which is now facing direct attacks
from the Dark City itelf. While the attacks are small curently,
composed mostly of small troops of Zombies, Skeletons and
Specters, the Dark City now has a presence on the south bank
and appears to be building encampments. Feanorian, having
taken the greatest losses during the Catastrophie of the Orb
is calling for aid from Amir, Hostor and Eines Mien but Amir
must hold its own borders now that the Dark City controls
the north bank of Amir Ford and Hostor has had attacks by
Urukai Battle Ships as well as recent Assassinations of some
of the Mages of Pinicle. Eines Mien has recently developed
many of it's own problems and Krodogos is still under siege
and has put all it's resources into defending the city, as
has Menonas and both are still holding though they cannot
last more than a few weeks if things continue as they are.
Temnor and Dsesnor continue to battle eachother, Drakes against
Elder Mages. It is rumored that Sorikonia may become involved,
breaking ages of Neutrality, though how is unknown. It is
also rumored that a splinter group of Astengrad Mages has
created something with Elder Sorcery to use against the Dark
City, though what that might be is uncertain.

- The Battle Has Begun- and a terrifying trap has been sprung.
Feanorian, thought to be waiting in it's assault on the Dark
City moved with a days notice and began it's attack on Celendil
et Necreneff. A legion of hero's was seen leading the attack
from Shadowguard while another legion made a brave attempt to
penitrate the defenses from underneath. Both met with sucess
and uncovered some of Celendils well kept secrets, such as new
breeds of undead and an ability to create Skeletal and Zombified
creatures that retain thier innate skills (i.e. Skeletal Death
Giants with Giant Strength and 1-5 Necro AND Skeleton abilities!).
These new troops still did not hold up against the well prepared
and forcefull hero's who carved thier way through Litches, Death
Knights, Wraiths and even Mummified Ogers. Their were reports
of a skeletal Tree Ent from Alon forest that attacked an entire
animated forest. Due to a devine light that enshrouded this
forest, the animated tree's seemed to be able to deal damage
to this Skeletal Ent. All was going well for the legions of
Feanorian, having obtained the flag of Justice which gave all
party members Ward and Might Mace, and the second task force
that was sent in to attack from below even killed a Carakwaith
(Braids) and successfully buried her and was bringing her back
for Exorcism when a Green Dragon showed up. It reportedly demanded
the group turn over their magic items but when they refused
a second time said "Fools, Disband." and then shot
off to the East. Meanwhile, a Griffin was seen landing near
the two Platinum Dragons outside of Feanorian and some say this
Griffin took a humanoid form and spoke with the Dragons in Elder
Sorcery. The Griffin was conversing with them when the Green
Dragon showed up and demanded the humanoid disband. The Green
Dragon quickly spoke to the two Platinum Dragons who immediatly
took off, renouncing any allegience to Feanorian. As the hero's
at Shadowgaurd advanced passed Alon forest, they engaged a Thief
Wraith and two Carakwaith (Eclipse and Fish). The Theif Wraith
stole the bow of Ritious Aura and as the battle with the Carakwaith
was heating up the Green Dragon showed up landing between the
Undead and the Heros and demanded they disband. When they refused,
he asked for their magic items, they refused again and he chased
them away, saying "Renouce your allegence." and then
flew away at a tremendous speed. At this time Nelorian had battled
his way through the bulk of the undead troops and was entering
the Dark City when suddenly, the Orb of the Elder Magus, Enchanted
with Ritious Aura and Combat Discipline (Paladin) suddenly trembled
and masked magic that had been hidden within it was revealed.
The Orb was flawed and once the mask was removed Unforged all
party members magic items! All the heros remained alligned with
Celendil and so all their magic items were unforged as well,
as was the Flag of Justice. Mysteriously, items from the Grey
Isles were unaffected by this flaw and some items from Sorikonian
(neighboring the Grey Isles) reforged themselves! In the aftermath
of this horrific loss the battle went very baddly. With little
on no defense against the greater undead, the Carakwaith had
no problem sweeping in and animating all the fallen troops from
the latest battle. Suprisingly, the loss of troops was minimal,
with Feanorian loosing the most (55% of it's attack force) and
Hostor the least (only 15% of it's ships lost). Amir lost 81%
of it's troops but could not commit many due to the short notice.
And thus, as the days pass, many count it as a blessing that
the attack was made with such short notice as many well armed
troops could not go, and as such, still have their magic items!
In the aftermath of the epic battle, Celendil actually gained
terrirory, sweeping across the Shadowguard bridge but being
halted from overrunning Amir by a faintly glowing forest and
a Platinum Dragon that had returned to the battle. The other
(presumably it's mate) was seen patrolling the Celeroth River
and anialating boats of undead with it's breath weapon. It is
all but certain that Celendil would now hold the south bank
of the Celeroth were it not for this pair of Dragons. The battle
has ceased for the time being and with the grevious loss of
magic items, Feanorian has chosen to go on the defensive. They
cannot push an attack effectivly against greator undead unless
they can obtain more magic items and so they are trying to obtain
as many as possible as quickly as possible, making many Temnorians
and Dsesnorians rich in the process. But the day was not done
for many of these hero's who having teleported back to Eines
Mien organized a task force that set sail from the port of EioIon
heading south to unknown locations. The fact that they survived
was marked by their return somewhat later, but their are reports
that a cretain Guildmaster of the Thieves Guild that accompanied
them did not return and attempts to summon him have all failed,
leafing many to believe that Death Came for Him or he met an
even worse fate. What the purpose of this excursion was is unknown,
as all the hero's are tight lipped about it though some who
knew them said the appeared excited and depressed at the same
time. Some theorize that they are planning to leave Roekron
all together for distant lands. Other's believe it was a reconisance
mission for some secret purpose but no-one can be sure. In Astengrad,
a group of "student mages" was reprimanded for dabbling
in Elder Sorcery that apparently was to be used against the
Dark City. One of the head teacher's quickly explained that
they were merely involved in a "class project" and
so the group of mages, consisting of 45 life mages, 16 flame
mages and 38 storm mages, appears to be continuing their spell
under the careful scrutiny of the Elder Apprentices. What this
spell is suppose to do is anyones guess. Krodogos is taking
a beating and appears to be ready to fall though it stubbornly
refuses to be taken like the Dwarves who built it. Every day
more Dwarves are slain and the Wizards Trade Order looses more
troops and they loose ground. It is only a matter of time. Menonass
summoned an Arch-Angel to help them against Telenon the evil
elf who weilds Ebonafter and leads Dagdeoths troops to attack
Illionass. Unfortunatly something went wrong and instead of
summoning an Angel of Light they summoned and Angel of Shadows
which, being Lawful Evil, immediatly sided with Dagdeoth and
is helping to destroy all of Menonas' defenses that were holding
up until that point. In Oriri, the market has collapse. The
new Duke who inherited a legendary magic item bought up all
the surrounding territory with money the city didn't have and
went bankrupt! The city is once again on the bring of starvation.
The war between Temnor and Dsesnor continues in the Redwash
with age old hatred and prejudice being born anew. The Drake
Riders of Temnor prove a dangerous match for the Dsesnorian
samurai clans and Temnor is using all it's resources to hold
off the elder sorcery of the Wizards Trade Order, who are, luckly,
sending much of their force north to assist Svodlun. Where this
leaves Roekron is unknown, but likely much of the comming age
will be forged, here now, while the anvil is hot!

The Pieces are Moving: Feanorion is preparing to attack the
Dark City in the first ever organized assault on the Carakwaith
Stronghold. Lead by Lord Nelorian who weilds the Orb of the
Elder Magus Enchanted with Ritious Aura he has developed a
way to use Combat Discipline to reduce the mana cost of the
Ritious Aura so it is free for certain periods of time! Also,
an offword Legendary item turned up
-
Current Rummors: Rummors of a massive battle between Hero's
from Eins Mein and serveral Carakwaith are spreading across
the land. It is said that a band of Specters, Apparitions
and three Carakwaith were heading into the wet hills for what
purpose can only be guessed at, but they were intercepted
by a band of hero's from Enis Mien who succeeded in killing
two of the Carakwaith (Curves and Wolf) and tried to bring
them back to Enies Mien as Zombies when they were overrun
by specteres and wraiths and the Curves and Wolf were retrieved
by Eclipse. All appeared lost until a mysterious army (some
200 strong!) of previously unknown elite elven archers showed
up and picked off all but the Carakwaiths personal guard as
well are recapturing Wolf (still a Zombie). The hero's pursued
the remaining two Carakwaith (Curves having been returned
to her Vampire form) who were trying to break through the
elven archer defense. An epic battle followed in which one
of Enis Mien's personal Veteran Guard ended up in a duel with
Curves who wielded a Morganti broadsword! He faught bravely
but eventually was slain (though not Morganti) and one of
the hero's, a Necromancer immediatly slayed Curves with a
Warded Ritious Aura. However, Curves rose up immediatly in
a Final Fury chasing down the brave Necromancer and striking
him down with an unblockable Morganti slay! Curves retreated
to Eclipse where her Final Fury ended and she died, only to
be rebirthed by Eclipse. Being the only two remaining undead
on the feild they fled, battling their way through the elven
blockade and retreating hurriedly to Celendil, their errand
incomplete. A great victory has been won for the poeple of
Roekron, hope is felt throughout the land, as people who once
lived in the constant fear, now think of these few brave hero's
who stood up to THREE Carakwaith and not only lived to tell
about it, but drove them off licking their wounds though at
what cost, a hero's soul has been detroyed, never to reach
the afterlife, gone forever! Perhaps the fact that they managed
to bring one of the Carakwaith back for Exorcism, will console
those who morn for our fallen brother, for the process that
has been successful, and Wolf if no more, Lord Lobos lives
and breaths as a free willed human once again (though at the
cost of two levels lost in resurections). Lord Lobos is now
helping to organize the assault on Celendil to free the rest
of the Carakwaith and win back the elven capitol. As for Eclipse
and Curves, they both have been seen in the days that followed,
and hopes that Death might come for them both, are not to
be realized, though Curves appears somewhat less herself,
from reports on the frontlines of the Feanorion guard. Enies
Mien now awaits Celendils response to this recent defeat,
and is bracing for the worst. The mysterious elven army of
200 silver and magic armed archers has vanished, leaving one
to speculate upon whether they ever really existed at all.
- Spring Season Preview:
Things are stirring the land of Roekron and a war has nearly
broken the land again. Svodlun has all but fallen to the combined
forces of Dagdeoth, Andionion, Hostor, Temnor and Celendil et
Necrenef. The remaining fighting is centered around Krodogos,
the Dwarven capitol city which remains strong and is heavily
aided by Dsesnor and the Wizards Trade Order. Dsesnor has also
declaired war on Temnor and battles rage in the Redwash again.
The Drakes have proven deadly in combat, as their breeding speed
makes them virtually sacrificial. Because of this, Temnor is
holding off Dsesnor though they have pulled all their forces
out of Svodlun to defend themselves. Hostor initially rescued
many of the enslaved Hobbits but then found their access to
the slave mines barred by Orks and Urukai from Dagdeoth who
declaired the mines the property of Dagdeoth and the slaves
their spoils. This enraged Hostor who threatened to pull their
aid in the war. Dagdeoth responded by attacking all the Hobbit
battle ships and recapturing many of the recently freed Hobbit
slaves. Crippled, Hostor limped home with the remaining few
slaves and renounced it's attack on Svodlun, focusing instead
on reclaiming Northern Andionion with the Elves. This, of all
things, was the most successful. The Dwarves pulled back through
the Stonehammer Pass to defend their homeland and Hostor and
Andionion had little trouble driving off the remaining Dwarves
and restoring their forests, though many of the forests were
burned as the Dwarves retreated (those that had not already
been logged). The Elves set about rebuilding their land discovering
that in the battle, Celendil et Necrenef had expanded it's area
of influence, animating fallen Dwarves and Elves alike for it's
ever expaning army, guided always by the watchful eyes of the
Eighteen Carakwaith. The rumor is that now that Andionion has
it's land back it will move on Celendil et Necrenef as soon
as it's army is rebuilt, though nothing official has been said.
Lord Calips, the Elven Noble who weilds the Orb of the Elder
Magus stollen from the Carakwaith is said to be planning on
leading the assault with the Orb. Illionass has been aiding
Svodlun under direct orders from Dsesnor. Since their mode of
aid was not specified, Illionass chose to oppose the Orks and
Urukai from Dagdeoth whenever possible, finding excuses to avoid
fighting the Elves and Hobbits whenever they could. Andionion
and Hostor sent ambassidors to Illionass, trying to persuade
them to join the assault on Svodlun but Illionass remained true
to it's pledge to Dsesnor and the Wizards Trade Order. The stollen
magical treasury has been traced to Dagdeoth, and though the
legendary Morganti Longsword "Ebonafter" has yet to
be found. The worry about this is exacerbated by the fact that
since Dagdeoth was the first to invade through the tunnels into
Svodlun, they were the first to raid many of the dwarven smiths
and treasuries and now are in possession of a terrifying number
of magical equipment. Svodlun is now mostly controlled by Dagdeoth
(except for Krodogos) since Temnor was forced to retreat to
defend itself and Andionion focused on regaining the land North
of the Celeroth, and the Hobbits were driven out. Illionass
says they expect Dagdeoth to attack them next, now that they
no longer have to fear the Dwarves to the west. The Wizards
Trade Order has cut off much of it's support of all contries
that attacked Svodlun and is demanding the immediate surrender
of all those involved in planning the attack for Dishonoring
and Executing. Ironically, Hostor is the only province NOT facing
charges of mutiny against the crown, since it alone has remained
an independent nation, outside of the Wizards Trade Order. In
all of this mayhem, it is Einion (the province of the Wood Elves)
that has remained calm. While they have aided Andionion in reclaiming
their land, they have not attacked Svodlun and so are not facing
any charges. Things have been quite for the past two weeks,
though the fighting still continues. Most recently though, their
has been a rash of kidnappings. Nobles from Einion, Andionion
and Temnor have all vanished (though it is confirmed that they
are not dead) and are being held somewhere. Who is behind these
kidnappings is still a mystery. Many of the Mages of Pinacle
have had assassination attempts made on them, though by who
is still unknown. The king of Dsesnor was attacked by protesters
outside the palace and a spell hit him causing major damage
and hacking many of his limbs (though not permantly). Because
of this, protesters are being slaughtered throughout Dsesnor
and many are fleeing. Furthermore, one of the sons of the Illionass
king who rules near the Sleeping Wastes has been murdered. Attempts
to resurect him failed. Illionass is on the verge of pulling
out of Svodlun as well now, as Dagdeoth has been building to
attack them in the past few days. A few spectacles have been
Reedmanswatch erupting (it was not known that it was a volcano),
though it has caused little damage so far. Also a combined Earthquake
and Waterspout in the Grey Isles sent a tidal wave west past
the Grey Cape killing thousands in Geb, and Vietess as well
as Southern Hostor. All the countries have sent aid though the
Wizards Trade Order has sent the least, causing an unroar.
-
The Season Finally! What
happened. As we move into the winter season a great deal is
happening in Roekron. Temnor revealed it's newest weapon,
Drakes! A hybrid of the dragon with only base intellegence
and a viscious bloodlust, they are half dragons in all respects
(save elder sorcery- they have none). Thus they have chain
mail equivalent AV, a 32 ROR, are size 5 and have 15 HP (among
other things). The Temnorian Guard rides these Drakes and
announced that they were at that very moment using a great
number of Drakes (as they breed very quickly) to attack Svodlun.
An odd side effect of the drakes breeding is that they always
have a clutch of 6 eggs, half of which will be drakes, but
the other half turns out to be totally new creatures of all
sorts never before seen in Roekron.
Hostor too has announced it has sent ships to attack
Svodluns harbor and to recover slaves that are freed in the
battle.
Illionass reports that a large army from Dagdeoth moved
into Amin Dagderon and then somehow went under Mt. Hragnor
and emerged inside Svodun territory. Also, someone has stollen
most of Illionass' magical weapons armory, including the Legendary
Morganti Longsword known as Ebonafter!
The elves of Andionion are using strain on Svodun to
take back Northern Andionion from the Dwarves and are avoiding
Celendil to do so, though there is talk of attacking Celendil
using the Orb of the Elder Magus stollen from the Carakwaith,
this has not happened yet. An attack was made on one of the
lead nobles of Feanorion by an Ork who was quickly dishonored
and killed (thereafter PDing) but not before uttering something
in high elven. Investigations to discover who hired this assassin
and why have been unproductive.
Dsesnor has sent troops to Svodlun to defend against
the attack and states that Temnor must stop immediately or
face removal from the Wizards Trade Order. Temnor says it
has a right to defend itself, and Svodluns trade pollicies
are an attack on them. Dsesnor is moving to invade Temnor
through the Redwash if things continue to escilate and Temnor
says they will not hesitate to use their Drakes against the
Order.
The Duel between the Shogun of Estorok Keep and Lord
Smalltree is scheduled for next week and will determine who
will rule Dsesnor and set policy for the Wizards Trade Order.
Even if the Shogun wins, Lord Smalltree will remain in power
for the rest of the year which may mean that the it will be
too late for any intervention concerning Svodlun.
Astengrad, the Mage School, has not gotten involved
and is taking it's age old possition of letting the lesser
provinces solve their matters on their own while they continue
to solve bigger issues.
Eines Mien is assisting the Andionion Elves in retaking
the North Shore and any other lands previously held by the
elves but is making no attack on Svodlun..
