East Bay Family Fanwar Campout – Teriock
Registration: All families must pre-register for this event. There are a limited number of spaces available. Registration and payment are required to save your spot. To register e-mail email@example.com . Payment may be turned in to Sara at a Teriock Fanwar event or mailed (before may 1st). Please contact Sara for address. Remember that this is a private event of families who gather together every year. Fanwar is the entertainment for the children. This is not a special event. This Family Campout is not open to the public but to a select group of families from the east bay and surrounding area that enjoy being together and LARPing.

Reminder: We are a group of families who camp and Larp together. This is a family campout, not a drop off event. All children must have a responsible adult in the park at all times with a working cell phone. This adult will take care of those children’s needs including food, water, behavior, and health (both physical and emotional). Each adult may not be responsible for more children then there are seats in their car. (This is in case of an emergency, i.e. fire, earthquake.)
Location: This campout location will be divulged upon request . It is a primitive site. There are brand new chemical toilets but no access to showers.
The gate: All registered families will receive an e-mail one week prior to the event in which the gate code will be announced. You will need this code to drive to the campsite from the road. Please do not share this information.
Cars: Due to a limited number of cars allowed at the camp site, each family is limited to one car.
What to bring: Besides bringing everything you need to enjoy your time camping and playing Fanwar please feel free to bring musical instruments, song books, magic cards, etc.
Food: The first night will be a pot luck dinner. All other nights each family is only responsible for their food but we encourage sharing.
Campfire: One fire ring is available for a community campfire.
Schedule: You may arrive as early as 3pm on the first day. First event is a Pot luck dinner starts at 6:30pm. The special, milieu*, This is an event that players bring their wears, food and their talents to share and earn in-game gold as well as learn important plot pieces for the week. On Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, there will be three sessions each day. Morning session is from 10am-1pm. Then there will be a lunch break. Afternoon session is from 3pm-6pm. (in the event of extreme temperatures of 90 degrees and above start time will be 9am-12noon and second session will be from 3:30pm -6:30pm ) Then we will break for dinner, campfire, and music. Night session will start at 8pm and end at 10pm. There will not be any sessions on the fifth day but everyone is welcome to camp the fourth night. Check out is 12noon.
Dogs: Dogs must be on leash in the tent area and in a tent at night.
Character Sheets: If your child wants to play a character that is usually played in Chris’ Roekron league, please make sure to bring that character sheet. All requests must be submitted on the day before your character plays. It must have a stamp of approval from Chris or a text sent to me from him as authorization. Note that your character will most likely not speak the language and be restricted to 1-2 word sentences.
